Alandroal is one of the only municipalities in the country with 3 castles and is located in Alto Alentejo, a central location,, it is located a few kilometers from Spain (Badajoz) and Elvas, Estremoz, Borba, Redondo (Serra de Ossa), Vila Viçosa (where is the palace of the last king of Portugal), Terena, Juromenha, Reguengos de Monsaraz (Alqueva) and Évora (50 km). It is an excellent place to rest and try to get to know the Alentejo with its colors and flavors.

Had a slight delay with checking in, but the issue was resolved and the rest of the stay was perfect. Beautiful and clean room and building, very close to the castle, restaurants and cafes. A very pretty town that I wasn't expecting to stay in, but glad I did!
